No Jennifer Garner here.

On Sunday we took a trip downtown. We had tickets for the 2pm concert of the LA Phil at the Walt Disney Concert Hall (again). First, we decided to take a walk down to Little Tokyo. On our way there, we looked down the street and saw some fire trucks, police cars, and then a bunch of trailers and cameras. We walked down to check it out and right in front of the Court of Flags they were setting all this stuff up. We decided to stand around and just see what was going on when Laura noticed Victor Garber. There was also quite a few people in business attire. It was weird because it was Sunday but I still was confused if they were just waiting to get on the Red Line. Our very first celebrity sighting! We had a hunch that it was Alias.

We continued down to Little Tokyo where we walked around a bit and ate some lunch in a small restaurant. It was ok, but nothing special. We shared a Bento Box and a Spicy Tuna Roll.

We headed back towards the concert hall by way of the Court of Flags--I just had to know what was going on. This time they were rehearsing the scene and we even saw them do a take. What was surprising was the lack of crowd control--we were just hanging out there and weren't bothered a bit. I even had my camera out. Before we left, I just had to ask one of the guys standing around what was going on. He confirmed that it was for Alias and they were all a part of the shoot. It was kind of cool actually recognizing a celebrity and then also seeing a shoot for a show we watch. We will have to be paying attention to see if I made it in the clip!

We made it back to the concert hall. It was a good concert but having been there in January it just wasn't the same. Our highlight was definitely being tourists for a day.

On a side note, we came across a neat looking building on our way back. It is another example of government at it's finest. Caltrans' new home. Our roads are falling apart. Freeways are like parking lots. The Governator wants an enormous bond measure. But Caltrans had to have this. Nice.

Lastly, we'll leave you with what happens when we leave a closet door open for a couple minutes.
