Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!

We are headed up to Fresno for Christmas to spend the holidays with both of our families. Our cute little niece (see below) is a year and a half so that should make for an entertaining Christmas morning, watching her open all of her presents. Our two little kitties will be left at home with a Christmas tree to play with. Hopefully we won't regret leaving the tree up all weekend. Those two have been eating it, drinking out of the bucket, and splashing the water all over the presents. All we can do is yell at them and laugh. They don't learn.

We are both taking the entire week off after Christmas as we finally have enough vacation days to do that. We plan to hang out around home, get some stuff done, and also have a little bit of fun. It should be a nice break from work.

Ready...Set...Blog!

So, here we go. Thanks to my good cousin, Todd, I now see why this whole "blog" stuff is cool. It is hard to keep in touch with not just old friends, but family as well. So after hearing and reading his new blog, a light bulb came on and I find myself here today joining the craze. We'll see what happens. Hopefully I find myself taking the time to keep everyone up to date on our lives down here in the great overpopulated metropolis. If at any time you notice that it hasnt been updated in awhile, shoot us an email and we'll get right on it. I also imagine that I get an email from someone, I may choose to publish the response for everyone to enjoy. I guess I better get back to work.
