Live from Simi Valley Hospital

Coming to you live from Simi Valley Hospital...

So I'm sitting here watching American Idol and typing this using the hospitals new wireless network. Pretty cool considering we don't have high speed access at home.

Laura was admitted at 4pm to start the process of inducing. From last Monday to yesterday, she hasn't progressed much. So with it being past the due date and her blood pressure a concern, theh doctor does not like the idea of continuing to wait it out. Before going all out with inducing, they are trying to speed things up in getting her body to the point where they can do that.

Baby Watch

No baby yet. We are on baby watch. Laura's due date was Thursday. She see's the doctor twice a week now. She has another appointment on Monday at which point we will decide how much longer to wait and how to induce.

I've been spending my weekends doing small projects around the house and working quite a bit in the yard. No plans for this weekend, although I was planning on spending the weekend in the hospital. But that hasn't materialized yet. I'm trying to catch my sleep now.

As soon as I get a chance, this blog will be updated with any baby news and hopefully a couple pictures.
